Who is Sarah Bouchard?

Sarah graduated from the University of Montreal in 2014, where she earned a Bachelor's and a

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy. Her areas of interest at the time included mental

health, pediatrics, and musculoskeletal disorders. She began practicing in a private clinic

immediately after graduation, serving an adult clientele benefiting from CNESST, SAAQ,

or private insurance.

Working with clients living with chronic pain and feeling unequipped to effectively

relieve their symptoms, she decided to further her education with a graduate certificate

in chronic pain management from McGill University, which she completed in 2018,

followed by a certification in somatosensory rehabilitation for neuropathic pain obtained

in 2020.

With a genuine interest in alleviating the persistent symptoms of her clientele and significantly increasing their capabilities and autonomy, she actively pursues continuing education to enhance her knowledge, particularly in her research master's focusing on optimizing the use of self-management strategies for chronic pain.
